Peninsula Golf Club, located on the east side of Port Angeles, Washington is an 18 hole semi-private golf course. The course has a tree lined setting with beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. <br><br>From the white tees, the par 72 course is 6078 yards long and is rated at 69.6 with a slope of 116. Fairways are not tight, but have a moderate Scottish links flavor. Breaking putts on smaller greens will challenge you. <br><br>The weather in Port Angeles is cool (65F - 75F) in the summer (marine moderated) and in the winter we have less rain than Seattle and more sunny days!<br><br>The Pro Shop is run by Chris Repass, our PGA professional. It offers a variety of clubs, supplies and clothing. Rental clubs are available. The club has carts, a covered driving range and a putting green. Chris is an excellent teacher and offers lessons upon request.<br><br>The course is open for public play every afternoon except Thursdays Chad Wagner was born and raised in Sequim. He is 29 years old and has been involved with playing and coaching athletics for a long time. His first passion was baseball, where he had a glowing high school career. After graduating in 2006 he attended Lower Columbia & then Hawaii Pacific Colleges, playing baseball and getting his degree in Justice Administration. He then earned his Masters degree in Sports Management. Several years after college and coaching at Lower Columbia, Chad returned home to coach baseball for Port Angeles High School & Wilder. Shortly there-after, he was bitten by the golf bus and has immersed himself into the sport on a fast track for success. His gold improvement is impressive, carding a low 64 and making 3 holes-in-one (one of the 13th hole par 4 at Dungeness). Chad will bring a great energy, creativeness & fun atmosphere to the club.
