Our goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for your children where at the same time children will be learning and developing social and educational skills. While you are participating in the Star Box Learning Center program, we hope to develop a partnership, between home and school, which benefits the development and growth of your child. Star Box teachers and staff provide protection, security, stimulation, support, and affection. Children are respected as individuals within a child-oriented rather teacher-directed program. Children are given the opportunity to explore materials and participate in a variety of experiences. Activities are carefully planned and implemented in an open-classroom setting. Children are free to choose from age appropriate activities after lesson plan has been completed. These activities include: pre-math skill, science and nature, dramatic play and other areas within the classroom.
