Starting in 2016, AQC has gone through a rebranding process that has allowed the firm to focus on developing a new business niche that combines architectural design with development finance as a specialty service for real estate development projects. We are most creative and innovative working with economically challenged areas facing the pressures of potential gentrification. The pressure and inevitability of gentrification can create a unique opportunity to identify common ground for the creation of untapped economic/commercial wealth, alongside the development of new housing and support services for local residents. Although current projects are mainly in the Bronx, NY, our approach is universal and as a template could be applicable to a palette of other urban communities dealing with the similar issues.
