We specialize in teaching Math in a way that makes sense to students. We teach students to understand, master and LOVE mathematics! Our instructors are highly trained and constantly mentored by experienced teachers. All our instructors have strong math backgrounds and exceptional communication skills. But, most importantly, they are kind and patient and able to connect with our students. Our programs are designed to help students catch up, keep up and get ahead in math. Our curriculum focuses on developing a strong conceptual framework so students can understand the math they are being presented with in school. We emphasize the ability to explain and articulate mathematically. These are the skills students will need in school and in life. With increased understanding comes increased confidence and increased performance in school and in all subjects. Mathnasium instructors use our unique assessment process to determine, with great accuracy, exactly what each student knows and what they need to learn. Next, we design a customized learning plan for teaching the concepts the student needs to master. Our instructors continually monitor progress to make sure students understand and retain the concepts we've taught. We continually communicate these results with parents. The results can be transformative: improved attitude, increased performance and greater academic progress, stronger critical thinking skills.
