Using micro-chemical testing, Mr. Mosca can identify the constituents of paint finishes. He was a major contributor in developing a program for paint research, which was devised at the National Trust for Historic Preservation during the years 1973-1975. Since then, Mr. Mosca has developed expertise in the examination of pigments using polarized light and UV fluorescent microscopy.
