Listing Information:
CPR of America was established in 2014 with a mission to train and equip as many people as possible with the life-saving principles of CPR. Studies have shown that someone suffers from cardiac arrest, administering CPR doubles or triples the victim’s chances of survival. By extension, we believe we are in the business of saving lives. After launching our first location in Massachusetts, we have since expanded to six locations throughout New York, Massachusetts and Maine, and we continue to grow. All of our instructors are certified by the American Heart Association, they have a minimum of four years of teaching experience, and they take a personable approach to teaching CPR skills to students from all walks of life. Training Courses for Every Skill Level From large corporations to medical schools to Girl Scout troops, we have designed a set of CPR training programs to meet every need and skill level: Friends and Family - Perfect for parents, babysitters, community groups and others without prior medical experience, this non-certification course teaches the basics of CPR for adults, children and infants, as well as AED and airway obstruction relief. Heartsaver - This course is designed for non-medical professionals who need certification in CPR and life-saving techniques (e.g., to meet OSHA or workplace requirements). Students will learn CPR techniques and AED usage for victims of all ages. Basic Life Support (BLS) - Designed for healthcare providers, this course provides certification training in a full range of resuscitation procedures, including CPR, AED, airway obstruction, stroke training and more. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Our most advanced training course, ACLS builds on the skills learned in our BLS course to give healthcare providers the most extensive life-saving training available. At CPR of America, we take our live-saving mission seriously, which is why we have developed a range of courses designed to meet the training needs of people of all ages and skill levels, professionals and non-professionals alike.
