My name is Chirag Desai. I fight for the “little guys” – the underdogs, the victims, the fighters, the survivors, the powerless, the ones who have been wronged, when they need help the most. I hear you, I am with you, and I will fight for you. I was born in Zambia (in Africa). My family immigrated into Mississauga, Ontario in Canada when I was 7 years old. My parents were both blue-collar factory workers and we did not come from a lot of money. I left home (and my family) when I was 18 years old and chose Charlotte, North Carolina, in pursuit of the American Dream. I knew I wanted to be in the United States and attended UNC Charlotte for Psychology.
