When deciding on their new name, they were in clear agreement that it reflect the history of both firms. Craige Brawley Liipfert & Walker is North Carolina’s oldest law firm, having been founded by Burton Craige in Salisbury, North Carolina in 1832. It was very important to the partners of Craige Brawley that Craige continue to be part of the name.
