I have been working very hard to find better techniques and best products to best satisfy my clients needs. How should I show up to the appointment? If you are used to filling in your eyebrows with makeup, you are welcome to come in with make-up, we will remove prior to starting the process. We recommend you coming in for an Eyebrow Design two weeks prior to your appointment if you are used to waxing or threading your eyebrows. We cannot wax or thread the day of the microblading procedure, we only tweeze or use an eyebrow razor. What to expect from the healing process? Everyone heals differently! The stages of healing can be scary. Your brows will be dark, maybe darker than you would like at first. About 24-48 hours later you may start noticing some scabbing and fading. Do not pick at the scabs! Once the scabs naturally fall off, the brows might look as if the pigment faded. Do not worry, after the first 4 weeks you will notice the pigment coming back to a natural color. Follow the after-care instructions for a smooth healing process and be patient! Is Microblading and Tattoo the same? Similar, but not the same! Instead of making a dark shade on the brows, microblading is when we hand draw individual hair-like strokes that imitate your brow hair with either a microblading pen or machine. These strokes are only lightly made on the top layer of the skin, whereas tattoo ink is darker and penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin essentially lasting forever. sDoes semi-permanent make up make my hair stop growing?rthurt?Does it hurt? No! Microblading should not stop natural hair growth. However, it can sometimes stimulate hair growth. This boost in hair growth can help create a more natural and fuller look. We believe that as we create a fine cut on the skin, that it can stimulate collagen and hair growth to the area.​ What to expect when you come to wax, after shaving, using Nair, or trimming your hair? Please be informed that when you shaved, trimmed, or did Nair your hair do not expect it to be smooth when you get the couple first waxes. It will be stubbly since some of the hair breaks. Shaving, trimming, and Nair will only take the superficial layer of the hair, so when the hair grows back the hair that is left will be nourished back with all the nutrients in the body, and it will be thicker than the roots. Thus, pulling the hair with wax breaks the hair between the thick regrowth hair and the thin roots. It will take 2 to 3 waxes treatments more or less, to make the hair thinner and the skin smoother. When you shave, trim or Nair getting wax is more painful since the hair is thick, and it’s hard for your skin to release the hair. Then, it makes your skin sensitive, and the regrowth is thicker what makes it more difficult to pull. We suggest no shaving, trimming, nor using Nair between waxing so that the procedure will be a lot easier and less painful. The wax has to be 2 weeks after shaving, trimming or Nair, so the hair is going to be ready to get waxed with less irritation. How do I book an appointment? Please visit our booking page.
