Reviews For The Tortilla Press - Collingswood | Average Rating:

  • The tortilla press is in one of the best spots of all of Collingswood. The building is impossible to miss and once inside the atmosphere is playful and fun. I especially liked the open accordion style windows. The food is well made, they are known to use local produce and nothing from the kitchen seems to be not cooked well. What does lack however is the spice. The food over all tastes bland from what I've come to expect of Mexican inspired foods. More spice, More seasoning, and this place could then be something really special

  • This was my first time here. I found the place great with a relaxing atmosphere. Food was freshly made and reasonable priced. The limeade was a nice thick and refreshing drink which I added my own tequila to (remember Collingswood is a dry town). And never forget the people there, they were friendly and polite severs.

  • Good portion size. No sides. Priced for the neighborhood it's in. Expertly prepared and delicious. No nonsense and BYOB.

  • The coffee-braised ribs were unbelievable. Fall off the bone and the half rack was more than enough. 5/5

  • I really struggled with this dinner experience. No flavor, no character. My steak was a decent quality piece, but had no soul. The roasted vegetables were seasoned, but the overwhelming smell of gas to cook them was too distracting. Salvageable part of the experience- the wonderful open windows, decent music, friendly staff, best guacamole this side of the gulf. We love the restaurants in town, and Tortilla Press is one of the ol' stand bys.
