Elite Handgun Academy, Inc. headquartered in North Dallas, and serving the needs of the North Texas community, was created with a commitment to one basic concept - teaching the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for owning and using handguns safely. Featuring Certified Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and National Rifle Association (NRA) and Certified Instructors, we offer a broad curriculum of firearm, home protection and personal protection classes. These courses include Texas Certified Concealed Handgun, NRA Basic Pistol, NRA Home Firearm Safety and NRA Personal Protection in the Home. Our classes are conducted in private, dedicated classrooms and all range activities are conducted at licensed and established ranges. Our staff has the training, experience and knowledge to help you become licensed to carry a concealed handgun in the State of Texas. All of our classes meet and exceed NRA and DPS requirements. Our philosophy is simple. First and foremost, firearm ownership comes with the responsibility to yourself, and all of those around you that you be responsible and proficient in their use and knowledgeable in the laws that govern them. We understand that choosing an instructor and a handgun training course is a serious matter and that there are a lot of different options available to you. It can sometimes be difficult to sift through all of the choices available. While it may be fun and exciting to learn how to shoot a machine gun, that skill simply has very little practical application in the real-world civilian environment. We remain focused on teaching proven concepts and curriculum that the average citizen is most likely to face in their daily activities. We will strive to always act in a professional manner and always treat you with respect. If, after the completion of any course you take with us, you are not satisfied with the instruction you received, we will gladly refund your course fee, less the cost of any course materials.
